As part of the Cyber Victoria Schools Challenge, LifeJourney is offering two upcoming webinars for teachers related to integrating cyber security concepts and skills development into the classroom. These webinars are free and are not exclusive to Victorian teachers. All teachers in Australia interested in learning how to leverage the Day of STEM platform and our cyber security programs into the classroom are encouraged to register and participate.

Inclusive in the Cyber Victoria Schools Challenge and the Optus Cyber Security Experience is a free professional learning offering for teachers. The Cyber Teacher webinar aims to build understanding of cyber security and build capacity for teachers to integrate this understanding in the delivery of the Digital Technologies curriculum. Teachers will learn about the components of program and discuss best ways to implement interdisciplinary curriculum and project based learning.

Within the Cyber Victoria Schools Challenge and the Optus Cyber Security Experience are a range of introductory cyber security challenges aimed to build foundational knowledge and skills within the field. The challenges aims to encourage students from all disciplines to explore a range of cyber security concepts. The challenges encourages students to work individually and/or in teams to problem solve a range of questions exploring areas such as malware, encryption and email headers.
