Advanced Technology Project & LifeJourney Bringing Cyber Workshops to Adelaide
South Australian students and teachers will soon have the opportunity for hands-on workshops designed to introduce them to cyber security learning resources. LifeJourney and the Advanced Technology Project will facilitate two workshops, one for students on October 16th and one for teachers on November 13.
The South Australian School Pathways Programme (known as the Advanced Technology Project (ATP) in South Australia) is an initiative funded from the Commonwealth by the Department of Defence and managed by the Department for Education.
Student Workshop – Exploring Cyber Security Pathways and Careers
Who: Open to all Y9-12 students, first in best dressed, space limited, no cost
Date/Time: Thursday, October 10 2019 | 10:00am-2:30pm
Address: Adelaide JCSC | Westpac House, Level 26, 91 King William St, Adelaide
What: Half-day excursion for Year 9-12 students during the school holidays designed to inspire and help them understand opportunities in cyber security.

Teacher Workshop – Cyber Teacher Starting Up in Cyber Security
Who: Teachers (7-12) and curriculum leaders, free, space limited
What: Professional development session for South Australia teachers designed to introduce them to the field of cyber security, new trends and data, and resources for students including the ASD CyberEXP program.
