In support of Day of STEM partner, the Australian Council for Computers in Education (ACCE), an industry led panel was organised by LifeJourney for the ACCE 2018 conference in order for talent insights from the technology employers to be shared with those teaching the next-generation subjects within the Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies.

It has been a busy month for Day of STEM at Australian education conferences. Renee Hoareau presented to eager to learn teachers at: 

COMVIEW 2017, Victoria University, Melbourne, November 28 – Victorian Commercial Teachers Association Conference.

Renee presented on fintech and cyber security themes contained in the Day of STEM programs highlighting topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and cryptography.

Dandenong High School starts a Cyber Club

Using the Optus Cyber Security Experience (click here) and Australia 2020 (click here), teachers from Dandenong High School have inspired their students to  build a Cyber Club. Students recently created their own drones to fly (a first for the school).

The Australian Council for Computers in Education (ACCE) has joined LifeJourney’s Day of STEM initiative as a strategic education partner. The ACCE is the national professional body for those involved in the use of information and communications technology in education.
