LifeJourney will facilitate a Cyber Teacher PD workshop as part of the 2019 Australian Cyber Conference at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 8. Teachers joining the workshop will receive a complimentary registration for the entire Australian Cyber Conference provided by the conference sponsors. Teachers will receive a certificate of participation that can be used for accredited professional learning hours.

School students from across Melbourne learned how to become better digital citizens and prepared for cybersecurity careers when they visited La Trobe University yesterday, as part of an Optus led Digital Smarts Day.

Hosting a one off Cyber Day provides an excellent opportunity for students to be introduced to a potential career in the exciting field of cybersecurity. John Curtin College’s Cyber Day incorporated the ASD CyberEXP, workshops developed by Edith Cowan University and guest speaker Cordelia Mortimer – Lee, a Senior Security Consultant at PwC. A fun filled day was had by all those involved.
