September 13 – Cyber Security Professional Learning Session for WA Schools

LifeJourney is organising a free professional learning session for WA schools in partnership with John Curtin College of the Arts (JCCA) on 13 September in Fremantle. The event will introduce the tools and resources available for introducing cyber security careers and skills development in secondary schools along with discussions from employers and tertiary providers in WA talking about pathways into this exciting and rewarding field.

The session will be led by Donna Buckley, Mathematics and Cyber Teacher, from JCCA along with Renee Hoareau, Director of Education and Engagement from LifeJourney. Guest speakers will include representatives from Edith Cowan University, Cisco Systems and Optus sharing their career journeys in the field, and the tertiary and professional opportunities available in WA.
