Day of STEM Participates in Cisco Networking Academy Instructors Conference Series

Day of STEM recently participated in two instructor conferences for Cisco Networking Academy on June 17 in Sydney, and on June 24 in Melbourne. The series brought together instructors and program managers teaching courses in different TAFE institutions across Australia. The series was hosted at Telstra’s new Customer Insights Centre facilities in Sydney and Melbourne.

The conference series provided participants with a chance to learn about important course updates and improvements and network with colleagues from other TAFE institutions. During the breakout sessions, the Day of STEM initiative was presented to instructors, alongside graduate-level programs currently being implemented by Telstra and PwC.

Since 1997, over 126,000 students have participated in Cisco Networking Academy courses in 125 different institutions throughout Australia. Cisco Networking Academy is a global IT skills and career building program, anchored within Cisco’s corporate social responsibility group. To date the program has reached over one million students worldwide. To learn more please visit https://www.netacad.com/
