Education Leader Renée Hoareau Joins Day of STEM Team

Experienced education leader Renée Hoareau has joined the Day of STEM team in Australia as the Director, Education & Engagement. Renée’s responsibilities include supporting schools and teachers across Australia as they implement Day of STEM programs in the classroom. Renée will also lead relationships with Day of STEM’s partner organisations, including professional societies and teacher associations.

Renée has extensive experience working in secondary schools and tertiary institutions as well as teaching organisations, including the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers, Mathematical Association of Victoria and the Victorian Information Technology Teachers Association. Renée holds several advisory roles for driving change and leadership for 21st century learning, strategies for building strong partnerships and leveraging technologies for in-demand digital futures.

Renee commented on joining the team, “I’m very excited about joining the LifeJourney team. Bringing the Day of STEM platform to schools across Australia allows me to extend my career passions for supporting educators and students. Harnessing these current and emerging technologies will shape and advance the careers of the future.”
