Deakin School of IT & LifeJourney to host Cyber Security Information Session on November 15th

Cyber security is arguably the fastest growing industry and most in-demand career field in Australia today with over 11,000 jobs being created in the next three years. Deakin School of IT and LifeJourney are hosting this information session and workshop to help secondary teachers and schools better understand the field of cyber security, the programs available to help inspire and prepare students and the post-secondary courses and degrees that can take them into the profession.

Learn from others Victorian teachers implementing cyber security in their school’s curriculum and industry experts working in the field who will share their personal stories and student programs. Walk away with a new understanding of this emerging field, equipped with the resources and tools to help your students succeed.

The event is a continuation of the partnership of Deakin University School of IT and LifeJourney and follows last 2017’s Cyber Teacher Professional Learning Series featuring Steve Morrill.
