Future Careers in STEM Series Coming to Northern Territory in October
The Northern Territory Department of Education and LifeJourney are organising a four-day series in Alice Springs and Darwin, October 16-19, to highlight the critical importance of future careers in STEM for students. The sessions will feature an exciting range of guest speakers from industry and education, along with hands-on workshops for students in drones, coding, robotics, engineering and cyber security.
In addition to the student events, there will also be a professional learning opportunity for teachers and principals featuring special international guest teacher Steve Morrill, Director of Information Technology and Founder of the Cyber Science Program at Loyola Blakefield in Towson, Maryland.
