AAMT Supports National Day of STEM Initiative

The Australian Association of Maths Teachers (AAMT) have announced their support for Australia’s Day of STEM, a national initiative that allows students to test-drive STEM careers through an interactive web-based platform. The Day of STEM is designed to raise the national IQ for STEM careers, inspiring the next generation of Australian STEM professionals through an interactive, online awareness platform led by the nation’s leading industry mentors.

Will Morony, CEO of AAMT, commented on the new partnership, “AAMT is pleased to be supporting the Day of STEM initiative! Providing Australia’s mathematics teachers with an easy-to-use platform that allows students to explore careers in the STEM fields helps us achieve our mission at AAMT.”

Rick Geritz, CEO of LifeJourney™, the company behind the Day of STEM platform, was equally excited about the relationship, “Day of STEM is thrilled to have Australia’s premier maths teacher association behind the effort. We’re confident our platform can support teachers to inspire and engage students about the rewarding opportunities of careers in STEM.”
