UQ Girls Do Cyber Recognised by AWSN
At the 2020 Australian Women in Security (AWSN) the University of Queensland’s Girls Do Cyber program won the “Highly Commended” recognition for the Best Higher Education program for Young Ladies in Security. The program was implemented with support from LifeJourney and the Australian Signals Directorate as part of a broader partnership with University of Queensland.
The Australian Computing Academy (ACA) Schools Cyber Security Challenges won the top prize in the category, along with nominees which included: Edith Cowan University, Girls Programming Network, Kids SecuriDay and OxCC.
